NCHU Scholarship for Foreign Degree-Seeking Students — Spring 2027 Entry

New applicants admitted under NCHU’s international-student admission regulations. Do not apply the continuing-student 70/80 grade thresholds to new applicants. Awards depend on department/college review and annual quota.

New students: international admission application and required admission documents. Continuing renewals: scholarship form, transcript with rank, signed performance evaluation, and supporting academic/language/service evidence.

Department ranking, college review, scholarship committee and presidential approval. Quotas and components depend on funding.

Spring entrants receive the initial award February–July. Continuing students reapply each February–March; previous two-semester average must be at least 70 undergraduate or 80 graduate (use the last semester if less than a year). Maximum undergraduate four years (veterinary five), master’s two, PhD four (direct-track five).

Stipends cannot overlap similar Taiwan government scholarships except specified MOU arrangements. External tuition subsidies require repayment of duplicate waiver funding. Full-time employment/work-based residence, disciplinary penalties, non-registration or unapproved prolonged absence can end eligibility.
