Transfer Student Tuition Scholarship

Awarded to outstanding Nebraska resident transfer students from a community college or four-year school who have demonstrated high academic potential. Transfer Scholarship Scholars demonstrate academic distinction. Selection is based on completion of at least 15 non-NU transfer semester credit hours at the time of application (hours must be completed and reflected on an official transcript by the application deadline) with a 3.500 cumulative transfer GPA or higher and last semester transfer GPA of 3.500 or higher. Must be working on a first bachelor's degree with no admissions deficiencies or previous cumulative NU GPA below 3.500.

1. Apply for admission by March 1 (for fall) or October 1 (for spring). 2. Submit your college transcripts in MyRED. 3. Submit your Enrollment Deposit in MyRED by May 1 (fall) or December 1 (spring).

Renewable for one (more than 52 credits) or two (52 or fewer credits) years, must maintain a 3.000 grade point average and complete 24 credits.

This scholarship is offered by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. The scholarship is not transferable in part or in whole to any other university or campus, including the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) or the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). This scholarship will not cover the cost of tuition for classes taken at UNO, UNK, NCTA or UNMC. Note: The University of Nebraska does not discriminate based upon any protected status. As a public tuition benefit under Nebraska State Statute 4-110, individuals awarded these funds must be citizens of the United States or if a qualified alien have been verified as lawfully present in the United States (Nebraska State Statutes 4-111 and 4-112).
