Awarded to incoming Nebraska residents with top test scores of composite 36 ACT (1570-1600 SAT), inclusive of the science section. Beginning with the enhanced ACT in September 2025 available to all testers, students must elect to take the optional science portion and also achieve a 36 STEM Score (average of the math and science section). Must be a Nebraska resident and graduating high school senior. Incoming admits with qualifying test scores of 36 composite ACT (1570-1600 SAT) inclusive of the science portion are automatically considered. Beginning with the enhanced ACT in September 2025, students must take the optional science portion and also achieve a 36 STEM Score (average of the math and science section). Final official test scores from the February test date or earlier are due by May 1.

The President's Scholarship may transfer to any other university or campus of the University of Nebraska System, including the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) or the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Note: The University of Nebraska does not discriminate based upon any protected status. Scholarships are subject to change each year for new incoming students. As a public tuition benefit under Nebraska State Statute 4-110, individuals awarded these funds must be citizens of the United States or if a qualified alien have been verified as lawfully present in the United States (Nebraska State Statutes 4-111 and 4-112).
