Ensemble options for housing scholarship consideration vary based on audition, student preference, and departmental needs: - Membership in the Pride of Acadiana Marching Band in the fall, and the Concert Band or Symphonic Winds in the spring - Membership in the UL Lafayette Symphony Orchestra plus another ensemble (Wind Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble or Choir) - Membership in TWO School of Music ensembles per semester (this option requires a 2.3 GPA) - Membership in one ensemble, plus assigned work for 5 hours a week for two full semesters\ \This option is reserved only for students for whom two ensembles are not appropriate, as determined by their primary instrument and applied teacher.
