Department of Art, Art History and Design Scholarships

American Art History Scholarship supports outstanding undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Art History at the University of North Florida.

### Eligibility Requirements: - Must meet admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida - Must reside in Florida for tuition purposes - Must maintain a minimum UNF GPA of 3.0 - Must declare a major in Art & Design, with preference given to students pursuing Art History ### Student Responsibilities: - Enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours each Fall and Spring semester - Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 - Adhere to all university rules, regulations, and codes of conduct - Consent to the release of academic records to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for reporting purposes - Remain in good standing as a student ### Award Details and Renewal: The award amount is determined by the fund manager and may cover up to the full cost of attendance, including tuition, books, housing, meal plans, transportation, and other related expenses, as outlined in the annual “Cost of Education” budget by the Financial Aid Office.

Eligible students must be Florida residents for tuition purposes, maintain full-time enrollment (12+ credit hours in both Fall and Spring semesters), hold a minimum UNF GPA of 3.0, and have completed or be enrolled in at least one of the following courses: American Art 1, American Art 2, Postwar Art, or African American Art.

The scholarship is renewable for up to four semesters, provided all eligibility criteria continue to be met.
